The quality or character of being wise, or something in which this is exhibited.  The capacity of judging rightly in matters relating to life and conduct; soundness of judgment in the choice of means and ends; sometimes less strickly sound sense, especially in practical affairs.  Knowledge; learning; erudition.  Wise discourse or teaching.
